Tampere University (TAU) is a Finnish university established on 1 January 2019 as a merger between the University of Tampere and Tampere University of Technology. Prof. Jarmo Takala, who was the Executive Vice President of TUA has visited the EECS on 2017 to discuss the collaboration between TAU and EECS. The two Universities finally signed a Dual Degree Agreement on Septerber 2018 while the Prof. Mika Grundström (Dean of Faculty of Computing and Electrical Engineering) visited EECS.
