In the first quarter, the College of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science participated in the “ Orientation Activities for 2nd Semester AY 2022/2023” and led more than 30 international freshmen to conduct a school tour on February 15th. Through the enrichment activities, students could further understand the research and academic capabilities of the college.

Apart from the student activities, the EECS also met with foreign guests from different countries to discuss bilateral academic exchanges and cooperation. On February 1st, the EECS met with Prof. Mitchell McEwan from Macquarie University in Australia. On February 3rd, meeting with the visiting guests from Cornell University in the United States. On February 20th, meeting with the visiting delegation of Mahidol University in Thailand. On March 15th, meeting with the visiting delegation of the president of the University of Illinois, and on March 28th, Assistant Dean Meredith Blumthal of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign visited us to discuss the collaborations. Through the face-to-face meeting, we hope to expand and deepen our opportunities for diversified cooperation with outstanding foreign universities.
